edit:

And it's not standalone, as Activision even states in their official FAQ and by their recent statements, they are not changing their minds. So you need to buy $110 edition of Infinite Warfare to get the remaster of CoD4... which still lacks content in comparison to the original game (so far we know it will have only half of the maps), not to mention possible "modern" features like lack of community based, dedicated servers replaced by 'amazing' p2p lobby system without any anticheat features (or official cheats as seen in BO3). And yes, I'm sceptical about their future plans, I can't wait for $15 map packs of other 10 on release non-released maps. But hey, we'll get prestige, yay...

BF5 for me so far... and I don't even know anything about it.

Not that everyone was asking for this the past 3 years but yeah... Infinity Ward finally realised that futuristic warfare shit is gonna flop badly, so it was time to lure us using something else. Something that has succeed in the past. They're gonna win, you know. Yet again.

I feel similar, i'd rather reinstall cod4 and we get together for a night of playing.
Maybe we can have a nice virtual get together, we all install cod4 and pick some server to play on.

ps. it's BF1, not bf5 ;)

I have a problem with that... I never uninstalled CoD4. Master, what should I do?

ps. I know, but I'm not playing into their 'clever' marketing. And we still know nothing about it - no gameplay and WW1 theme was leaked like 3 months ago (although those rumours said it will be both CoD and BF in WW1 - so 50% accuracy is good enough I guess :D). :P

Jesus... You know, a COD4 reunion evening would be such an awesome idea.

Any chance of setting a precise date like a month from now and getting a server for this event exclusively and specifically?

This would be awesome, but getting everyone together will be a big hassle. Would be nice if we could get some kind of mailing list consisting of FK members. We could plan an annual game night every year, or once every 3 months or sth.

Should be fixed now, i gave retired fragkings access to the FK private forum.
You guys all used to have access to it, so i don't see a problem with it.
and now that most is dead, except for a reunion, i rather see more people able to join.

let me know if you still can't see it.
