Be that as it may, the referees were absolutely awful. I don't know if it was because Brazil is the home team or if this is just the standard for the entire cup. I don't like either possibility.

Yeah it was an awful decision but every one of those shots should have been saved, bad decisions happen in football. Cant just blame the referee when clearly the goal keeper gets beat by 2 tame shots, and a penalty that goes straight through his hands that was tapped.

I dont think croatia deserved to win either, they made some awful mistakes. What bothers me more than the penalty is the supposed Olić's foul on Cesar.

It was a foul. Can't do that in the 6 yard box.

Wish people would stop going on about the referee, yes we can all clearly agree that the ref had an awful game and alot of decisions went against Croatia, we dont deny that right? Brazil clearly had alot more decisions go there way, but like i said look at that 3rd goal, the goal keeper is beaten with toe poke from outside his area. Even with these shocking decisions a goal keeper should not have conceded any of the goals that Croatia did.

1. Referee had a poor game and alot of decisions were wrong( if not all)
2. Croatia goalkeeper had an equally poor game.
3. Blame the keeper as much as the referee.

Brazil deserved to win, but not in the way they did. Brazil played bad but Croatia brought absolutely nothing to this game.

Absolutely agree. Ball possession was beyond ridiculous. Brazil would have won with good refing too but I just hope this kind of shit doesn't happen throughout the cup, it kind of ruins pleasure.

Yeah I agree about the referee, wasn't a good performance by them. Either way every country has been lucky thanks to a referee. One game it plays out in your advantage, the other time it plays out in your disadvantage. You hear Croatia complaining about the referee, Brazil admits that they were bad, but they're not complaining... That's football.

I just watched first half of Mexico vs Cameroon... well it's like the line referees think they're the mascot of a country, the amount of waving they do with their flag is insane. So I wouldn't be too happy with their performance thusfar either. I hope Holland vs Spain and all the other matches get a better referee.

not the best match, but i'm happy with our second win against Australia. 8-)

also australia's goal (not the penalty ofc.) was just amazing. maybe the best i've seen in the cup so far.

**checking the first post, seems our ranking went up quite a bit 8-)

Why I think it's bad? Because Nigeria and Croatia have the same percentage.
I never saw Nigeria playing nor I know there's any famous player from that country's team.
On the other hand, Croatia has the best midfielder in Champions league - Modric (he was assorted in European top 11 players, and he was announced the best player for his position. Don't ask me for link but i read it somewhere on football-related site), Bayern's attacker (Mandzukic) and Barcelona's player (Rakitic) and couple of players in other top european clubs.
Only Modric is "worth" more than majority, if not more than whole Nigerian team (He was sold to Real Madrid for 35M)

You can't even compare it to Nigeria's team, and your table claims these two teams have the same odds of winning. With all rights, I told you that the table we're talking about is totaly bad and incorrect.

i guess Nigeria had more luck then Croatia. 8-)

Fifa can't take risks.
