Man, that was one entertaining game. Algeria played well above their limits but unfortunately couldn't hold on for long enough.

Germany are masters of stalling by the way. The 2 minutes stoppage time at the end was insanely low. Bastian 'i-need-a-stretcher-oh-no-ill-just-stumble-off' Schweinsteiger alone made up 3 minutes.

They could "hold their playstyle" exactly until the second half started. Then germany started playing a bit more aggressive. Imo a deserved win for germany. ...Till now, not one of the "top" teams (nl/fr/ger/esp/...) convinced me with their playstyle. We'll see on Friday what happens.

wow, this Swiss - Agentina match ending just now. how exciting. argentina should have decided the match much earlier, but the extension was just a great watch. with the goal for argentina and then the pole hit from swiss. man, what a defeat. so close. both teams giving their utmost.

Too bad Holland didn't pass, they were my favorites since their first game on the cup, but their game from today just wasn't good enough for world cup final. All 3, Van Persie, Robben and Sneijder played way worse then they should on a match like this.

Robben was 'alright', sneijder and van persie awful. It's too bad but we didn't enforce shit for the entire match, you can't expect to win a WC when you don't score for 240 minutes of playtime.

don't disappoint me now mannschaft :<

He missed two penalties he shouldnt have missed in 2012. And these days when the coach doesn't allow him to take one during the game he starts whining like a little bitch instead of shutting up and do as he's told.
He does it all the time when he doesn't get what he wants, and there are other things like his diving and constant appealing to the referee, and minor things like the way he walks that make me feel I'd rather not have him in my favourite team.

Because nobody else 'dives' and 'appeals to the referee'. Get real, it's part of the game of football.

I know. My dislike for him isn't entirely rational.
